Yes, so because this is for IB, it's supposed to have meaning. So the idea behind these two chalk pastel pieces (the other is here) is something to do with layers. Which is why there are two layers of peel instead of one: because life is complex and what lies beneath may be unexpected. Something like that.

Oh, and I smudged the middle of the piece with my knee when I was carrying it out of the art room, because the senior area is so darn full of stuff that you can hardly move. So now I've also got a pair of jeans with an orange knee. The art spreads...

Yes! Finding the meaning behind the art where there wasn't one before! Or maybe there was one in your case, in which case I applaud you. Again, the combo of colors is nice. I like how you put the purple color in there as well. And the meaning of layers is really good. Not to mention very IB.

Actually, it's just the paper that's purple, so that wasn't even creative either. There weren't any other colors left :P
It really did work though :D

I like these two because the color is so nice. It's quite a sensual color and something about fruit is especially sensual anyway. Good job with the layers and Ithink orange on the jeans probably looks nice but doesn't help the artwork much. he he... :)

The IB coordinator also called it "sensual" and said that I like curves. This was slightly weird at the time, but now that you say it too, maybe it's true ;)
