Chalk pastel, based on a photograph that I've also got on DA. I'm working on the IB art portfolio, which is due today, so while the junk is printing I thought I'd submit. There's also a followup piece here that explains a little more about what I was thinking.

I love this... you have a good sense of how the pastel takes to the paper, and it shows. I'm doing a pastel piece right now, and I'm kind of afraid of using the white, but as I can see, you weren't when you did this...good work.

Oh, art portfolio. Good luck witht that. I like the way this looks, though. I like the combo of colors. And chalk pastels rule. I love working with them.
